Bounce Fight Night at Multiversum: Titles, farewells, and pure emotion

Last night, the 16th Bounce Fight Night took place at Multiversum Schwechat. I have a very special connection to this event, as I have been the ring announcer for all of the Bounce Fight Nights to date. I still remember the first event at the Ottakringer Brewery, which was much smaller at the time. It was all the more wonderful to see how this event has developed. It was our first time at the Multiversum, and the 2,000 spectators created a great atmosphere and showed real passion for martial arts.

Eleven thrilling fights, including two title fights

A total of eleven fights were on the program, including two title fights. Young talents from the Vienna boxing club Bounce put on a strong performance and were able to prevail against international competition on several occasions. However, the focus of the evening was on the performances of four established boxers, who provided the emotional highlights.

Michaela Kotaskova defends her world title again

Hard work awaited the reigning WBF world champion Michaela Kotaskova. She had to go the full distance against Argentina’s Gisela “La Imperatrice” Luna. After a dominant start, Kotaskova came under pressure briefly in the sixth round, but showed great experience. She controlled the fight, kept her opponent at bay, and repeatedly landed precise hits. In the end, she won by unanimous decision and successfully defended her title for the second time in front of her home crowd.

Mobin Kahraze confidently becomes the new WBF International Champion

Mobin Kahraze put on one of the most commanding performances of the evening. The light heavyweight left no doubt about his superiority against Poland’s Przemyslaw Gorgon. Even though he did not win by knockout, his title victory was never in danger. A clear points victory crowned a strong performance and earned Kahraze the WBF International title.

Emotional farewell to Fadi “The Beast” Merza

The most emotional moment of the evening belonged to Fadi “The Beast” Merza. In his farewell fight, the Austrian martial arts legend defeated Hungary’s Bela Istvan Orban by unanimous decision after six rounds. The audience celebrated Merza with frenetic applause, creating a spine-tingling moment that will remain in many people’s memories for a long time to come.

Impressive comeback by Seun Salami

Seun Salami’s first appearance after a year’s break from fighting was also emotionally charged. The undefeated Bounce heavyweight was clearly in the lead for five rounds against Ukrainian Kostiantyn Dvbyshchenko, but had to overcome some critical situations in the final round. However, his conditioning problems did not prevent him from securing a unanimous victory on points in his comeback fight.

Conclusion: New location, great atmosphere

The 16th Bounce Fight Night was also a complete success. The new location at Multiversum Schwechat provided the perfect setting for great fights, emotional stories, and passionate boxing.
