Major media coverage: Rituals lead to success

On Saturday, March 29, 2025, an extensive interview with me appeared in Kurier (print & online), in which I talk about employee retention and the importance of rituals for a strong corporate culture. A week later, on April 5, 2025, another major article followed in the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten (print & online). In addition, an online interview appeared on economy.at on April 4, 2025. These articles are part of a series of current articles and interviews in which I was able to share my expertise with renowned media outlets.

Employee retention as the key to success

At a time when skilled workers are becoming increasingly scarce and sought-after, emotional loyalty and employee satisfaction are more important than ever. In such a situation, rituals in everyday working life create valuable emotional connections. I regularly integrate this important topic into my keynotes to support managers and companies in its practical implementation.

Rituals as “champagne moments” for employees

Company rituals such as a warm welcome ritual, celebrating a business win together, or a regular morning event are like real “champagne moments”: they are an expression of genuine recognition and appreciation for employees. After all, people who feel valued not only stay with the company longer, but are also more motivated and willing to go the extra mile.

For example, I explained in Kurier that company rituals such as a warm welcome ritual can significantly improve the onboarding of new employees. As mentioned in the Oberösterreichische Nachrichten, the company John Deere is a good example of this: there, every new employee receives personal support on their first day, has their technology set up immediately, and is integrated into the team right away at lunch.
