Ronny becomes a university lecturer

A new challenge waits for me tomorrow. I’m going to join some students, but not to study again, this time to teach them something. So far, I have been able to gain a lot of experience as a keynote speaker and event host, but being accepted into the official educational program of a university is definitely an experience with a completely different nuance.

The story behind the storytelling

What is my new engagement about? I will be giving a lecture on “Storytelling” as part of the “Leading Transformation” master’s program at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria this semester. It is a one-semester block lecture that is divided into four blocks. Because the students are spread across the country due to the part-time nature of the program, we start with two online seminars, before there are in-person events in Linz and finally in Vienna.

I look forward to sharing something

I went over my lecture concept again today and I’m really excited to see how the event goes. I was told that there would be about 25 students attending and I’m looking forward to passing on some of my practical experience as a keynote speaker and host to the next generation. It will be particularly interesting to accompany the students during their practical exercises at the end of the lecture series and to give them feedback.

Learning and teaching

Even though becoming a professor is not a goal for me, teaching gives me a sense of fulfillment, responsibility and also a little pride. I will definitely report back on how it went. What subject would you be the right person to teach? Please feel free to comment on this.
