Summer Splash! Review of “the week of your life” 2012 – 2014

Today I want to look back to the years 2012 – 2014 to “Summer Splash”, which I was allowed to accompany at that time as Head of Entertainment and also partly as a presenter. I was there for three years when every year 12,000 high school graduates celebrated “the week of their lives”. Summer Splash in Turkey was the biggest high school graduates-trip in Europe from 2012 to 2014.

Party one last time with your friends

Summer Splash wasn’t just about celebrating that the high school diploma was in the bag. Summer Splash was much more… one last time partying together with the friends and colleagues with whom you have worked for years towards the common graduation. There were up to 5 floors where you could party day and night. 

To keep 4000 young people happy every day for 3 weeks in a row in the party mecca par excellence is an extreme task. Accordingly, I prepared myself meticulously for the planning of the various events. I specifically planned the course of the theme parties and included very special magic moments for each day. After all, it was all about pure emotions!

I also remember the direct cooperation with international top DJs like Avicii, Martin Garrix, Robin Schultz, Steve Aoki, Nicky Romero, Alesso, Mike Candys, DJ Antoine and many more. Also the cooperation with the whole Splashline- and Ixxalp-team around Andy Wernig, who unfortunately passed away way too early, was something very special. A special thank you also goes to my two assistants Elisabeth and Roxana, with whom we created the most amazing parties, like the Superhero Party, the White Night, the Baywatch Beach Party, an Apres Ski Party and many great evenings more.

All in all, it was a really great time to spend three years in a row in Turkey in June and July. Once again, a big thank you to everyone who was there for “the week of my life”.
